She's Home!

It took a little longer than expected, but we're home.  Karsie is currently happy in Nana's arms as Michelle is "nesting" and Kevin has just finished carrying the entire hospital into the Royals' house.  We are getting a visitor bringing many supplies to do Karsie's dressing change and feeding, but they weren't coming until 6, which meant we had to wait until at least 3 because she needed to be fed, which really meant 4:00 because it takes an hour to feed.  Add in paper work and more paper work, it took us a little bit.  But all is well in the house of Turner (and Royal).  Now begins a new chapter of normal parenting worries as the training wheels are now off!  Love you all!

  3. I know. We were slightly bummed about that. How can we call you on Halloween so you can come see her? (since they won't let us in because of the H1N1 thing). We're imagining some sort of break time visit.

  7. Wonderful news. I have laughed and cried so many times reading your blog. You have inspired our family in so many ways! I think it is perfect that you guys are coming out of the hospital as we are getting ready to go in (Monday at 9:00 in St. Louis.) Don't you dare stop blogging about my other little princess.

  8. Wow. What a journey. It's easy to see why God entrusted the care of this beautiful little girl to the two of you. You will never know this side of Heaven how many lives you have touched. Praise be to God!

  12. I'm so happy for Karsie to be "sprung"! This is an amazing and exciting day. Even more so because it seemed so sudden. Happy for you, and happy for Karsie. Are you all three together now, or is Kevin working in a different city?
