  9. Karsie’s Song

    When Jesus made me
He knew just what to do
    He would create a Masterpiece
For that’s what He saw in you

A Child to tell His story
That would change the face of God
He meant for me to heal this way
A helpless pea in a pod

    Now the world will know
    of His promises and love
    For Faith, Hope and Courage
    His message from above

I have fought so long and hard
    This battle that you see
With tears of struggles and of joys
    To be a family

Now comes the day when I am free
    You thought it never would
Your smile and laugh light up my face
    Like only a Mothers could

Although this chapter of my life
    is coming to a close
I cannot wait for what He’s planned
The next part, I love the most

So hold me to your beating heart
    So strong and unafraid
Because dear Mommy He has said
    His love will never fade

  10. Fantastic!
All those wish lists you had are coming true today!
I hope you manage to get some sleep, but the first night at home with a new baby is usually busy.
Good luck with everything, you are going to do just fine! Karsie has talented and loving parents, and a backup NICU grandmother, and so many people to provide love and prayers and support. And do laundry....and get shopping....
Ah, won't it be nice to get onto the ORDINARY stuff?!
    YI-HA!
    Love in bunches, Jen xxx
