  1. she's BEAUTIFUL. I know how she feels. it takes me about 12 tries to open my eyes sometimes, too.

  8. It is Sarah - the mom in St. Louis who is pregnant with an omphalocele baby that has exchanged emails with you. I just finished reading the updates surrounding Karsie's brith and have tears and smiles for all of you. Your daughter is just beautiful and, despite being 1/2 way across the country, I am sending many prayers your way

  10. Sarah - we can't wait to hear about your baby's entry into this world. If you have any questions about anything, let us know. Even after the birth let us know. Your situation will be much different than ours, but much of the recovery will be similar. Since this is such a rare type of birth there aren't many of us around, so we need to really try to support each other with information and answered questions. Please don't hold back any. We consider information about this one of the blessings we can give others regardless of our circumstances. Good to hear from you.

  11. You two are amazing parents. I'm sure it's a comfort to her to hear those same loving voices she heard in the womb.

I love seeing those eyelids moving!
