To all friends and family: This blog is intended to keep all of you posted on information, updates, and thoughts from the Turner family as we work to bring Karsie into this world. To all who have been supportive through prayer, kind words, and hugs we both want to say "Thank you" from the bottom of our hearts. This has been and will continue to be a very trying time for us and every act of love from you has given us inspiration and strength. -Kevin, Michelle, & Karsie-
she's BEAUTIFUL. I know how she feels. it takes me about 12 tries to open my eyes sometimes, too.
ReplyDeleteI just want you guys to know I am obsessively following your blog and keeping you in my prayers!
I agree with the comment above, especially the part about obsessively following your blog. I am a high school friend of Maya's. I am praying for you and can't keep Karsie off my mind! God bless you three!

It is Sarah - the mom in St. Louis who is pregnant with an omphalocele baby that has exchanged emails with you. I just finished reading the updates surrounding Karsie's brith and have tears and smiles for all of you. Your daughter is just beautiful and, despite being 1/2 way across the country, I am sending many prayers your way
ReplyDeleteSo sweet!!! Such a little miracle. Shes beautiful Michelle.
ReplyDeleteSarah - we can't wait to hear about your baby's entry into this world. If you have any questions about anything, let us know. Even after the birth let us know. Your situation will be much different than ours, but much of the recovery will be similar. Since this is such a rare type of birth there aren't many of us around, so we need to really try to support each other with information and answered questions. Please don't hold back any. We consider information about this one of the blessings we can give others regardless of our circumstances. Good to hear from you.
ReplyDeleteYou two are amazing parents. I'm sure it's a comfort to her to hear those same loving voices she heard in the womb.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing those eyelids moving!
