Amnio Pain

As expected, Michelle has been pretty sore all day from the amniocentesis done yesterday.  Add on the extremely intense round ligament pain and it's been a pretty painful couple of days.  We are both anxiously awaiting the results from the test which should be coming in the next couple of days.

    Wow, this sounds so familiar. In 2004 my baby was diagnosed with omphalocele on a Friday. We were offered the option of termination by Monday, because "we were running out of time to terminate." Termination laws and all that, I suppose.

    I remember the hell of waiting for the amnio results.

    Lucy is now 4 and doing great. I am praying along with you, that the omphalocele is just an isolated defect. It is easily repairable!

    So sorry for all the pain and discomfort! I didn't know you were having round ligament pain as well. Did you go to work today?
